Scenic North West Vietnam Motorbike Tour 6 days

Pick up from your hotel around 8.00 AM to our office, we will spend 30 minutes for the guide to do briefing about the trip and how to ride in Vietnam also to get used to with the bike before we start our trip. From Hanoi to Thac Ba Lake, there are many roads but most of them are very crowded and subject to traffic jam. We promise to lead you through safe, small and funny roads while avoiding hustling and bustling highways or national roads. Depending on your request, we can offer a short off-road itinerary through green tea fields or along the Red River. We will arrive in the destination at around 4.30 pm. After arranging our luggage and belongings, we will walk around the villages to study white Dao people’s life. Furthermore, you can bath and swim in Thac Ba Lake.

Dinner and overnight at a homestay at Dao’s family.

Depart in Vu Linh at 8.30 am and arrive in Sa Pa at 4.30 pm. Sa Pa is known as the foggy city of Vietnam.We continue with zigzag roads around Thac Ba Lake. After that, without other choices, we go through national road 70 and national road 4D. Then, we may stop to enjoy coffee and see international Vietnam – China border gate and listen to Vietnamese – Chinese war stories through 4000-year history and Vietnamese – Chinese war in 1979.

The road from Lao Cai to Sa Pa is about 40km but it is full of twists and turns as well as ascending slopes. However, on your left hand, you will see ravishing terrace rice fields and valleys. We can stop at some points to take photos. Before entering the town, we will visit Lao Chai Ta Van valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in Sa Pa and northern Vietnam with terrace rice fields stretching from the foot to the top of mountains.

Stay in hotel and have dinner at a restaurant in Sa Pa.

Depart in Sa Pa at 8.30 am and arrive in Mu Cang Chai at 4.30 pm

This is one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam for motorbike tours. After the breakfast at the hotel, we will pass O Quy Ho pass – one of four great passes in Vietnam. This road is often covered by clouds at the height of over 2000m all year round. However, if the weather is good, you will have stunning photo shots with legendary Fanxipan peak and grandiose Hoang Lien Son range together with ASEAN heritage garden. Then, we head to Mu Cang Chai national heritage, pass through sunny and windy roads with changing beauty scenes.

Depart in Mu Cang Chai at 8.30 am and arrive in Phu Yen at 4.30 pm

This is also a relatively outstanding road with motorbike tours in northern Vietnam. Through long passes as well as ravishing terrace rice fields, there will be stops for you to take photos with valleys and villages of Mong people, Dao people and Tay people.

Stay in motel and time for beer.

Depart in Phu Yen at 8.30 am and arrive in Mai Chau at 4.30 pm

We will stay in a host Thai’s family and watch traditional dance.

After the breakfast, we will ride motorbikes along the Black River while watching the peaceful life of the locals. Then, we reach Moc Chau Plateau, one of the most beautiful plateaus in Vietnam. In that place, we can choose small roads and go around the valley to take photos or we can ride to Hua Ta pass peak to take photos and enjoy stunning riding roads here. After the lunch in Moc Chau, before heading to Mai Chau, we have three options: first is going along small, narrow and winding old national road 6 or new national road 6 or off-road for 30km.

Depart in Mai Chau at 8.30 am and arrive in Hanoi at 4.30 pm

With a view to offering the most excellent experiences to you, we always seek the newest roads to satisfy the most fastidious bikers. Therefore, no one but we have this road in our route. Before reaching Hanoi to end this tour, we will ride for about 40 minutes on national road. This is a very funny road because we will again learn how to weave in between traffic and drive in a zigzag fashion as well as surpassing local drivers. This tour is ended here.
